Are you interested in sailing but unsure where to start? Join us on Sunday, 19th April, for our Open Day. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to get back on the water, come and discover the joys of sailing with our friendly, experienced members at TVSC.
What to Expect on the Day
The TVSC Open Day is the perfect opportunity to experience life at one of the region’s most historic clubs. It’s a fantastic day out for individuals and families alike. During your visit, you can:
Have a Go: Take to the water for a trial sail with one of our RYA-qualified instructors.
Explore the Club: Take a guided tour of our grounds and our beautiful, historic clubhouse.
Meet the Community: Chat with current members about club life, training, and social events.
Relax by the River: Enjoy the tranquil scenery of the River Trent with light refreshments.

Cost: Free and open to all ages and experience levels.
Note: No special equipment is needed to try sailing, but we recommend bringing a change of clothes and soft-soled shoes (like trainers) just in case you get a little splashed!
